MISuperMoto and SuberBikers2 join forces to announce the seven-round Great Lakes SuperMoto Championship Series will include a winner-take-all high-point cash fund
Linden, Mich. (January 12, 2010) – Supermoto is alive and well in the Midwest as Michigan’s MISuperMoto and Wisconsin’s SuperBikers2 announce the seven-round Great Lakes SuperMoto Championship. They have joined together to organize a high-point championship series where all riders in all classes are eligible for a cash prize of $750 – this means both amateurs and pros alike! So riders, throw some slicks on your motocross bike to try for a shot at the high-point cash fund.
The 2010 Great Lakes SuperMoto Championship (GLSC) will include the three-round Michigan SuperMoto Championship and four rounds of the SuperBikers2 series. A number of classes are offered to accommodate riders of all ability levels. The competitor who receives the highest number of points among the seven rounds, no matter the class participation, will be awarded the entire $750 cash prize.
This is an opportunity for Midwest supermoto racers and those who want to try supermoto to compete in a series with a cash incentive. When participating in the GLSC, racers are also eligible for individual event and separate series awards from the Michigan SuperMoto Championship and the Superbikers2 series.

“I’m very happy to be working with Glenn and Ann at SuperBikers2,” said Dave Duprey, owner of MISuperMoto. “They have been the foundation of supermoto in the Great Lakes region for more than a decade. It made sense for us to combine our series into a championship where riders can race in a professionally-run series with good money and contingencies. This series will provide racers from all over the Midwest the chance to race against the best of the best. Racers get prepared to bring your ‘A-game!!’”
